Shigemichi Ishitani was into drawing and painting until he found out there was no money in this field.
So he traveled Montreal for a soul searching.
When he came back, he switched from traditional to digital media. so he could hopefully have some bread to eat.

########### Remix video ##########
I created this video to talk about how those different media like youtube, music video and adobe program is influencing our culture and globalization by remixing all those resources.
I also borrowed images from the Transporter 2 , Sin city trailer and original music video and put the map between the video clips to indicate the recognition of the band after the movie was released.
I used exaggeration for my statistics because i wasn’t able to obtain the accurate report for this matter.

It’s kind of tricky to pick those 2D still images and convert them into animation piece while also synchronizing my audio piece with it at the same time.
I was caught up with technical issues and in the end… my piece naturally became abstract ( that was my original intention, of course… )
As for re-interpreting the themes of the mural, I think that… by putting the image and beat together, I can sense that there is a lot of excitement and confusion co-existing in this cyber world we exist in today.

I did enjoy working with photoshop in order to create a GIF because I received enough visual stimuli from my images.
Now, I have a deeper understanding of the jpeg and png image file formats.
I think it was a very important basic animation to go through before attempting to used an advanced animation program, but I guess… I cheated like Devil.

O, where can I begin…… this Programme course really changed my life.
I will probably avoid watching Matrix trilogy for another decade…….for good.
To this day, My left hemisphere of my brain still hurts like hell ….( hence, I am brain damaged )
I guess it is necessary to understand the code if you are into any computer program.
I hope one day I can program tetris so children can be excited about programming.
