The course emphasizes media art as a fine art practice incorporating time-based forms realized through audio, video, and performance. Technical elements and conceptual principles are explored through small projects and discussions that investigate ways to work collaboratively and independently. The course addresses media art through historical contexts and processes of critical thinking through examples and examination of artistsʼ works.
