A major influence to my art would have to be first my second oldest brother. He began drawing, sculpting ect…long before I did. As a result I was introduced to his mediums and pieces through our home at an early age. Second would be my Highschool art teacher Mrs.Hawthorne. She always encouraged me to go outside the box lol and so I did. I’ll never forget my final exam for her class ” No pencil….period!!!” I love the lead, and my piece of course was done in pencil. But in all her fairness I passed it with a great mark? Thanks again.!

Brand New as an influence from music is substantial!. Their music is direct and from a simple form. They focus on lyrics not sound, however the instrumentation has such an impact on the simplicity of it all! It brings me to a piecefull moment, and then a high place of creativity from going through so many levels of emotion on such a simple basis for tunes.
