Born: April 22nd, 1992. I’m currently a first-year student at the Alberta College of Art and Design. I was born and raised in Calgary and the Okanagan. I’ve been influenced by art since a young age, mostly by my father, who drew and painted in his spare time. As a young adolescent, art in the form of music quickly became my greatest influence (now mostly electronic music, rock, jazz, glitch, and orchestral). As such, my artwork tends to be heavily influenced by music, and other types of sound-based media. This could also be attributed to a minor case of Synesthesia. Other influences, and hobbies of mine include, fashion, architecture, anime, science fiction, music production, and general technology. I’ve been Straight-edge since 2006, which likely influences my artwork so some degree. One thing I’d like to accomplish in my schooling is exploring the relationship between sound and technology, and drawing and painting.
